A Brooklyn Tradition, 15 Years Running
FACT (Irish Hills Regional Chamber): The 15th Annual Witches Night Out takes place Thursday, October 15, 2026, 5:30–8:00 p.m., in the Village of Brooklyn, Michigan. The event was created by Kelsey’s Boutique & Gifts — Rene and Kelsey — and has grown into a treasured Brooklyn tradition that brings hundreds of people into local businesses each fall.
Participating businesses each keep a list of which locations are taking part, so shoppers can map their route through downtown and hit as many stops as possible.
COMMENTARY: Fifteen years is a serious run for a locally invented event. Witches Night Out is exactly the kind of grassroots tradition that keeps small-town main streets alive: one boutique’s idea, now a regional draw that fills shops, restaurants, and sidewalks on an October Thursday.
What to Expect
- An evening of shopping, sipping, laughing, and spooky cheer
- Participating downtown Brooklyn businesses with stop lists at each location
- Hundreds of attendees — this is a well-loved tradition, not a quiet night
