For one afternoon a year, Jackson County’s business community fits in a single room. JAXPO is that room — and this year the public gets the second half of the day to walk it.
The Event at a Glance
FACT (Jackson County Chamber of Commerce): The 2026 JAXPO Business Showcase takes place Thursday, October 15, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the American 1 Event Center in downtown Jackson. The one-day expo brings together businesses of all types for an afternoon of connection, exposure, and opportunity, where companies share their talent, expertise, products, and services.
FACT (Jackson County Chamber of Commerce): The day is split in two. From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Member 2 Member Power Hours are reserved for business-to-business engagement. From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the showcase opens to the public, who can explore what Jackson County businesses offer, meet local entrepreneurs, and network casually.
COMMENTARY: That split is smart design. Exhibitors get two focused hours of peer deal-making, then two hours of foot traffic from the customers they actually serve. If you only have an hour, come at 3 — that is when the room turns toward you.
The Economic Summit Lead-In
FACT (Jackson County Chamber of Commerce): A bonus Economic Summit runs 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as a lead-in, featuring insights from community leaders and economic updates for the region. The Chamber notes the Summit is sold out: effective September 1, 2026, Summit tickets are no longer available as an option with JAXPO booth purchases, and applicable purchases receive food vouchers only.
COMMENTARY: A sold-out summit is a demand signal worth noting on its own — interest in Jackson County’s economic direction is strong enough to fill the room before the expo floor even opens.

FACT (Jackson County Chamber of Commerce): JAXPO booth registration is currently closed while the Chamber finalizes the 2026 exhibitor lineup, though limited booth space may still be available; the Chamber directs inquiries to 517-782-8221.
